of Our Phoenix Interior Design Firm!
Wendy Longenecker
Owner/Principal Designer
Wendy believes that life is meant to be enjoyed and started Blooming Daisy Interior Design in the Spring of 2017 with this philosophy in mind.
As the mom of two daughters, Wendy realized how short life is and how precious our time is with our children. As a single mom with a full-time job, Wendy realized she just had a few more years before her girls would leave the nest and head off to pursue their own dreams and passions. Wendy wanted her life to have more purpose and meaning and wasn’t finding as much fulfillment in her job as she once had.
The seed was planted for her interior design career when she went to Paris in 2012 and fell in love with the architecture and design. She’s always loved decorating and styling her own homes and observing architectural details of old buildings and other cultures. She could never get enough.
In 2017, Wendy decided to take the plunge out of her career to dive headfirst into pursuing her passion for interior design. She couldn’t resist the inner nudge that it was her time to make a difference in a new way. She graduated from the Interior Design Institute, hit the ground running by starting her Phoenix interior design firm, and has never looked back!
She’s known to be a little bit feisty and loves advocating for her clients (and isn’t afraid to do so).
With her enthusiasm, determination, leadership, and natural ability to problem solve, Wendy helps guide homeowners with her seamless and easy design process. She guides them to make decisions that result in a space where their fondest memories will be made today and tomorrow.
Wendy’s favorite pastime is horses. Once a horse owner, she’d spend hours in the barn taking in the amazing aroma of hay, honestly the best smell on earth. She hopes to return to that passion someday soon.
When not working relentlessly to give her clients an amazing experience, she can be found spending time with her family and friends, sitting on a patio enjoying a glass of wine. She’s an avid reader and loves learning all she can on business, self development, and design. She also enjoys the outdoors either walking, hiking, or running. Wendy hopes to run another 1/2 marathon one day.

Kevin Longenecker
Site Manager
Katelyn graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in photography. Her work leans more toward macro in nature, but enjoys all aspects of the environment around her. Next to her love for photography she loves interior design. Because of her quiet nature she observes more around her, especially the little details, which is a great fit for this industry. We are thrilled to have her join our team as our Director of Purchasing and CAD Technician, and welcome her enthusiasm and young perspective to our growing team. In her free time she loves to crochet and explore the outdoors, capturing the world in detail with her camera. To learn more about her photography visit her website the Forgotten World Photography.
Kevin comes to Blooming Daisy with several years of experience flipping houses. A hard worker and not afraid to take down a wall or two, he’s a perfect fit for this position.
As a Site Manager, Kevin oversees the construction site on all of our projects, making sure the many different trades are following the design plan as well as offering assistance when needed. A jack of all trades, we are thrilled to have him as part of the team.
